I am actually surprised at how bit the garden bed I put in is. I was afraid it'd be too small but looking at it now it seems fairly large! [used intersecting border fencing as a perimeter, so 12 pieces across, 6 pieces long. The four big bags of .75 cubic feet Scotts topsoil FILLED THE WHOLE FIRST LAYER. color me shocked. Hee.
my goal really is to have the "big" bed hold the broccoli, carrots, onions and garlic. The "small" bed can hold the peas, beans, spinach and peppers. I may just use the rest of the "L" shape for herbs and my berry bushes. haha. or I may put the spinach in with the herbs... since I am currently using it to grow tomatoes anyways. We shall see!
And I totally support the idea of you coming down to visit/us seeing each other again! We can be silly and admire each other's crazy plants. And my insanely terrified-of-strangers cats will go nuts at you. haha. And if you come down I can take you to either an amazing italian restaurant by me or one of two awesome hibachi places by me. Whee-hoo!
