Digging
While my government seems hell-bent on driving this country straight off a cliff, I've been cheerfully burying my head in the sand. Or perhaps I'm just preparing for the inevitable collapse of our economy? At any rate, I've been digging and loosening and amending soil in my brand-new little raised garden beds, so that I'll be ready for planting in the spring. One is done and covered with plastic (to keep the local stray cats from treating it as the nicest, biggest litter box in the neighborhood!). The other one I'll finish tomorrow. (I can only do so much in a single evening - dirt is heavy, and then it gets dark. ^_^)
Hmm, maybe I had better hurry up and order seeds while commerce is still functioning?
