2010
hello 2010.
been a good year so far. spent new years listening to records and fixing some broken things that i've collected.
will be a year of positive change.. not a resolution, just more effects of a full paradigm shift in my worldview. time to get things done. have ceased drinking, for health, motivation, and financial reasons. i'd rather be a record collector than a drunk. i've scaled my social life back to to the first circle of friends, and putting more time and energy into family. i am one of the few people in my circle who still has both parents on this earth. i should not minimize the importance of this.
other plans for the new year.. make music again. learn to solder small scale electronics. back to school. create. organize. focus. read more. learn more.
and going to austin in march to see dead voices on air. one of my favorite bands ever. traveling for shows is a new passion- again, better than blowing $100 at a bar. plus i get to see an old friend there.
am i in a relationship? i don't know. we don't define it. i'm still a long-term rebound for her, but everything about it is pretty damn good. so i'll roll with it and see where it goes.
