home again.
made it back to denver today. casper was an 8 day fantastically insane whirlwind of family, friends, joy, isolation, inspiration and one fuck of an amazing concert. i'll write more about much of this in the next few days. im in a daze still. so much input.. waiting for it to congeal into a manageable whole.
despite having to be at work tomorrow a.m. (oh yeah, i got a job) i went to goth night for a short bit with my friend becky. had a drink, listened to music, and saw many Pretty Girls, though they didn't have anywhere near the usual happy impact on me.. think my heart and mind are still a bit wrapped up in someone i got to see in wyoming. there isn't much chance of anything between us in the near future, if ever, but damn it was so good to spend some time with her. she is one of my most favorite people, and i'm so grateful that we got a chance to reconnect; that we are still good friends despite rarely speaking or seeing each other.
