I know someone who could easily fix it, but you won't accept the nanoprobes.

4 days????!?! YOWZERS!

my husband and i have been in our house for almost two months - it took comcast EIGHT service visits to hook up the blinkin' cable and it don't look good - they couldn't figure out how to run it thru the walls, so they just drilled a hole to the outside and we have all the cable EVERYWHERE. WTF.

Speaking of the storm - I think lightining hit close to our house - one TV died and now our comcast high-speed internet isn't working - The modem works with the USB connection but not with the ethernet - oh computer guru - any suggestions ;P

may comcast come to your house and fix the issue the first time!!

I wouldn't really want to guess too much about what happened... however...

If it does work directly plugged into the computer, but not through the hub you have, then it is possible the hub got fried. You may want to make sure you try the boot up process for each one - I've seen it work amazingly before.
