Yes, soul sucking is a good descriptive phrase of the whole job searching process...
It was just the I Heart NY logo or whatever, with graffiti sprayed across the bottom, and depending or your uh, sexual preference, it said "boys" or "girls". It was GENIUS but cafepress said no...jerks...
That's a cute idea. Cafepress can be a bunch of jerks sometimes. I haven't experienced it personally, but other people in different fandoms that I'm in have had ideas and were taken down because of copyright. It sucks.
Yeah, especially since we changed the "I Heart NY" logo quite a bit too. The heart was a different color and we changed the font, but apparently it wasn't enough.
Booooo, job hunt. Just keep on applying at places. Eventually SOMETHING will turn up. The temp agencies that actually call me on a fairly regular basis -- if only to touch base or whatever -- are Core Staffing, Tempositions, and Glocap. I'd recommend those three if you haven't already applied there. Let me know when you guys are free and in the city.
Aww, thanks! I'll try those. I did get an appointment at Aldan Troy, hopefully I'll get some good work with them. I'll have Dee give you a call if we're in the city, since I don't have your number. See you soon!

I'm sorry to hear about your job hunt not going well. It is so freaking tedious, and soul sucking when you don't hear anything back. :(
How did your I Heart NY inspired shirts look? I'm curious. Way cool that you opened a store.
