What is up flist?! Lots been going on, I'll try to sum it up without taking up all the space on your page...
So,
dee_bloom218 got me to join in all the Twilight insanity. I read all the books, including Breaking Dawn, in the last week. I find all the fandom highly amusing, especially the whole Twatlight thing. The books are good, no feat of literary genius, but they're very entertaining. Also, DAMN YOU Stephenie Meyer for not indulging your fans in at least ONE good sex scene. Breaking Dawn was interesting. Not my favorite of the series, but still decent.
Job hunting is tedious. I'm not gonna talk about it too much, suffice to say that I haven't even gotten an interview and we've been applying like crazy.
I miss all my Pines friends! I wish you guys could all be here with me...
I've been reading like crazy. Also, for anyone who is a David Thewlis fan, you should most definitely read The Late Hector Kipling. It's wicked funny and also insane. I've finished quite a few books since I've been here. My count is up to 7 books, all four Twilight books included. My favorite one is a book I've been meaning to read for sometime, called The Art of Racing in the Rain. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Especially if you're a dog lover. It's a heartwrenching story told from the point of view of the family dog. Point is, I've got lots of spare time on the Long Island Railroad train to Penn Station every day.
Also tried to open a store on Cafepress.com, however the first shirts Dee and I designed for it were in breach of a copyright rule, cause we were using the I Heart NY design, except that our idea was awesomer. Anyways, I'm working on more shirts, hopefully I'll have another design up soon. My store is http://www.cafepress.com/twiggy324. I'll let you guys know if I put anything up, so that you can buy it if you want...
