A rather mis-selling title, but in work terms, it's about accurate.
Tomorrow is the rollout of my new procedure.
Yep I've changed company procedure. Not bad for the guy who only started there 18 months ago.
I'm going to be spending the first few hours of the next two weeks working with my colleagues assigned to logging faults with our suppliers. And the rest of the days writing the new training course that will guide the members of staff whom I dont get to familiarise with it over the next two weeks. I'll be spending the week after that rolling out the training.
I have managed to become our trainer and analyst without even really trying, and almost without noticing. Yet somehow I still feel that I'm not making enough impact.
Maybe when the results of these changes becomes clear I might feel it more.
I've also finished the first draft of my script and have passed it to a couple of friends to review. I've worked out a few changes I need to make already and I really need to get The Screenwriter's Bible, so I can work out where I am making formatting errors.
We'll just have to see how everything works out.
