road trip to olympia

Jul 22, 2004 15:16

okay, it looks like i need to post this separately from my rather scattered entry of yesterday evening...

basics:
need one (1) person with a license, who can drive well (last resort would be someone with no license, we shall see)
trip from littleton/acton/concord/lafayette to olympia, washington
will take place sometime between august 2 and 22, can be planned around college/school starting etc, probably around the second week
will last between five days (if we do nothing but sleep and drive) and one to two weeks (if sightseeing is involved)
two cats will be housed in the backseat in a new home-made mini-house (they tend to meow a lot in the car)
there is NO A/C (any ideas?)
car: my '94 mazda protégé, after being completely fixed up, all fluids changed and replaced, battery charged, etc.
luggage space: the car will be almost full to capacity, room can be made for a suitcase/duffel or two and extra food
the route has yet to be determined, but it, in essence, will be southwest around the great lakes, east across the country, and northwest toward washington
i will most likely be financing a one-way plane ticket for you from SeaTac airport to wherever you need to go
olympia is beautiful and consists of trees, amazing hip stores, good concerts, great people, one great all-ages nightclub, walking distance to everywhere (and is only a short car trip to heather!)

please, please respond or tell other people that i'm looking!

we can make it unbelievably fun. i just need to find someone, and fast

love
