There’s no “you” anymore
It’s dishearten since “you” were my bases of every writing
Either the prime suspect or as a reader
It gave me joy to know that “you” read my poems and stories
Updating “you” on my life’s events and relating with “you” through pages on the internet
Now, there’ve been multiple people replacing “you”
But nevertheless, it’s always been “you”
Yet time passes by and each time I referenced “you” less
“You’ve” denied me, lied to me and betrayed me
So now “you” are a past tense
An afterthought that I carelessly throw around
There’s no appropriate “you”, nor am I waiting a response from “you”
“You” are now regarded as the a universal thought
With no real definition of a pronoun to bind “you” to any importance
It’s sad that “you” were once a muse; “you” were bigger than life to me
And now just another faceless reader in my life’s journal
That’s if “you” ever even existed
