So we have a couple of high school interns at the theatre this week which has been a sort of mixed blessing, it's freed me up to do the less menial jobs but I have to keep remembering to update them on what I am doing.
A new show this week 4 shows, fingers crossed we don't have another flood, I don't think I could handle another round of "Act of God" paperwork. Having the interns also means I can get them to deal with the promo boards and flyers which dives me up the wall cause I am way to old to be standing on street corners trying to tape posters to polls.
So the roadies have pulled up about 30 mins ago to bump the show into a venue whose stage is too small and doesn’t have enough lighting ports, how the show was confirmed in the first place is totally beyond me but we will make it work we always do.
On a lighter note the production company wants me to head up the press conference later today which is a totally new freaky concept to me. While I love hamming it up with my friends being on camera be it still or TV is totally freaking me out. I just hope I don’t stutter or something equally tweenie.
I guess I’ll just have to deal… Any suggestions?
