Today's workout: Exact same times as yesterday. Exact same numbers as yesterday. I was distracted in the beginning because my workout buddy was there, and realized toward the end that I wasn't going to even make yesterday's crap numbers, so I pushed a lot harder in the last 5 or 6 minutes to make it up. Got there, by the skin of my teeth.

I'm noticing a definite improvement in how I feel, physically. I don't get winded as easily (although it's still too easy), and my legs aren't mush every time I walk over to work. My feet are definitely tired, and that's weird. I really, really need different sneakers. It's the tops of my feet with the issue, not the arches.

I also feel better mentally. This morning it wasn't even a struggle to get out of bed, and this is the first time I've worked out on a Tuesday in at least 3 years. M, my workout buddy, seems to have been right when she said it would just be easier to get there early every day rather than 3 days a week. I'm feeling more clear-headed, too.
