Christmas Traditions

We have a lovely Christmas tradition here at the White House. Out of the four Decembers we've lived here, the heating unit has gone out for three of them. The first time happened on Christmas Eve. The second time happened last year. The third happened today. And it seems that the problems we have with the unit vary from year to year, so no such ( Read more... )

Aww, I've got nothing but making christmas cookies and decoration the tree. I hope this is the last year you have those problems!

I used to electrocute myself every year plugging in my parent's Christmas tree. That was fun.

To answer your q, no, not really.

But you should consider a home warranty. I understand that the warranty that came with the device might not cover everything, but our home warranty has paid for itself a few times over. We have two heat pumps in our house and for a while they acted up a lot. Not so much now that both air handlers (the inside part) and one of the outside units have been replaced.

And our range went out...and we got a new one of those too.
