We have a lovely Christmas tradition here at the White House. Out of the four Decembers we've lived here, the heating unit has gone out for three of them. The first time happened on Christmas Eve. The second time happened last year. The third happened today. And it seems that the problems we have with the unit vary from year to year, so no such thing as warranty can cover the work, and as Greg and I have learned, the particular heating unit we have is a cheap, crap version that gives people problems anyway.
At the moment, we've got a repairman working on the various issues. I'm not cold, really, but the lack of air circulation is making my sinuses wig out. And the kitty's none too happy about the stranger either.
How about you guys? Any unfortunate, unintentional holiday traditions you'd like to share? :-/
