WEEK TWENTY-TWO

Damni lay awake in bed, her hands on her stomach.

“Hey.” She spoke out. “The baby book said that you would be able to understand me by now. Well, not understand me, but hear me clearer and since you can I want to tell you something. I know I’ve been talking to you for weeks now, but this time is different. It’s more of a confession. I feel, if I don’t tell you then I’ll start to hate myself for never telling you.”

She sat herself up and leaned against her headboard.

“I’m a liar. I’ve been lying this whole time. I mean there have been different lies, but I have put on an act for all of them. I’m telling you because you don’t have an opinion, yet. You won’t judge me and I need someone to just listen.” She took a deep breath and then exhaled. “I lied to Khun. He’s mainly the one that I’ve been lying too, because Wooyoung seems to know me. He just always knows and for some reason I feel like it’s so much easier to be around him than it is my own brother. It’s probably because of the way Khun has been acting. He’s jealous and depressed and accusing. He’s making this so much harder on me and Wooyoung because we will always have the thought of him being unhappy hanging over our heads. It’s really unfair because he is the one who is making himself unhappy. If he would just get out of his own head, everything would be so much easier.”

Damni took another breath, finding the next words hard to say to the unborn baby.

“I lied when he asked me to have you. I lied and said yes, when I really didn’t want to do it, but I couldn’t tell him that. I couldn’t look at both of your father’s and tell them ‘no, I’m not having a baby for you’ but with the way things are going, maybe I should have. Then maybe everything would still be the same. They are so distant now and I feel so responsible. Khun swears that I have feeling for Wooyoung and its eating him apart and what’s worse is that he’s right. And I know he knows, he’s right. Deep down the thought keeps getting to him. I don’t mean to have these feeling, I swear. I would never come between your fathers. The funny thing is that I have never considered myself your mother, even now, I’m your Aunt and I wouldn’t have it any other way, but sometimes I can’t help but feel jealous at Khun’s luck. Wooyoung is a great guy. He’s smart and funny and he listens and he knows me. I would kill to find someone who could read me as well as he does, but I guess it’s true that all the good ones are gay.” She chuckled.

“I mean, I don’t have head-over-heels feeling for him, but I do wonder what it would be like to be his wife, sometimes. But of course I push the thought away as soon as it enters my head. I love your fathers together, which is why I feel so bad for lying to them. But I feel worse about lying to you. It took me a while to warm up to you, even when I told your papa Wooyoung that I was fine. It wasn’t true. It wasn’t until you started to stick out that I really reconsidered. Before you were just a favor, but now you’re my niece.” Damni wiped her eyes at her confession.

“I’m soo sorry for pretending. You have done nothing wrong and yet I still didn’t give you my all. I am so proud that you chose me. You have given your all and are still giving so much to grow big and strong and I promise that from now on I will give my everything to keep you safe and sound until you’re ready to leave me.  I hope that you don’t hate me, because I really have fallen in love with you.” She kissed the tips of her fingers and placed them on her stomach.

WEEK TWENTY-FOUR

Wooyoung snuck up behind Khun’s desk and covered his eyes.

“Guess who?”

“Seriously?” Khun laughed.

“Yup.”

“Um…KiHun from the 3D department.”

“Um…no.”

“Man, he’s kind of cute.”

Wooyoung moved his hands.

“You’re so lucky I’m not the jealous type.” He sat on Khun’s desk.

“You’re very right.”

“Kihun, tho!?”

Khun laughed.

“What? He is kind of cute.”

Wooyoung just nodded his head.

“Oh my gosh, stop.” Khun laughed. “I’m just playing.”

“I don’t think you are, but it’s ok because I know KiHun doesn’t know how to touch you, like I do.”

Wooyoung ran his fingers from the back of Khun’s neck to the side of his cheek. Khun fell into his touch.

“Or kiss you, like I do.”

He leaned down and took Khun’s mouth into his, sucking on Khun’s bottom lip. Their tongue’s thrashed against each others, until Khun backed out of the kissed.

“Oh my god. What are you doing? We could get into serious trouble.”

Wooyoung was seriously like a drug. Khun didn’t know how he affected him this way, but he had to stop him or they would have been on his desk already.

“You know what no one else can do like I do?”

Khun stared into Wooyoung’s eyes.

Don’t say it. Don’t say it.

“Un uh.” Khun shook his head.

“Make love to you.”

He said it!

Khun just stared at him, his mouth half open. The knock at his door, brought him back to reality.

“Yes?” he turned around.

Wooyoung rolled his eyes at the guest. It was Kihun from the 3D department.

“Sorry to interrupt, but we need you downstairs. We can’t figure out the right shadowing for the new anime. We’ve tried everything and nothing’s working.”

“Alright, I’ll come take a look at it.”

“Thanks a lot.”

KiHun left Khun’s office and Wooyoung sucked his teeth.

“Oh my god, I’ve never seen you like this. It’s kind of sexy.”

“Then why don’t we pick up where we left off.”

“I wish, but you heard him. I’ll be quick, I promise.”

“No, take your time. We’ll finish at home.”

“What about Damni?”

“She has Pregnant Mommy Yoga, or something like that. Remember?”

“Oh yeah. So we’ll have the house to ourselves?” Khun’s eyes lit up.

“So I’ll see you at home?”

“You bet.”

Khun stood up and kissed Wooyoung.

“Now go back to your office.” He laughed

*~*~*~*

Khun opened the door to their house and was greeted by candles, lit all around the room. His mouth fell open. He closed the door, took of his jacket and placed his bag on the floor. Khun looked past all of the candles, through their living room to the patio; Wooyoung was standing out there in swimming trunks, with a bottle wine. All Khun could do was smile.

“Are you gonna join me?”

Khun maneuvered through the candles that continued onto the patio, and joined Wooyoung. Once outside he noticed the candles lead from the house all the way down to their pool.

“What is all this?”

“I told you we were gonna finish at home.”

Wooyoung kissed him, sotly. He then poured both, a glass of wine.

“I know things have been pretty hectic lately and that you have doubts, but I want you to know that I am here. I’ll always be here, no matter what. Ok?”

Khun nodded his head.

“Ok. To us.” Wooyoung raised his glass.

“To us.”

Wooyoung and Khun’s glasses met, and then they both took a sip.

“So…swimming?” Khun laughed.

“Yup.” Wooyoung smiled.

He pulled out one of the patio chairs and picked up a pair of swim trunks.

“Here you go.”

Khun laughed.

“Alright, give me a sec.”

He sat his glass down on the table and made to go into the house, but Wooyoung stopped him.

“Un uh. In front of me.”

Khun bit his bottom lip, and then lifted his polo up over his head, as Wooyoung sat down and watched.

~*~*~*

“You two are disgusting!!!!”

Damni stared down at Wooyoung and Khun, naked in the pool, from the patio. Wooyoung quickly grabbed his and Khun’s towels so they could cover themselves in the water.

“I’m sitting here, big as a fucking house, carrying his baby,” She pointed at Wooyoung. “And you two are fucking in the pool!!!! This shit ain’t cool!!”

Damni puffed out her cheeks, calming herself down.

“I came out here to ask one of you where the cookies are.”

“On top of the fridge.” Khun plastered a smile on his face.

“Thanks!” she quickly walked back into the house.

Damni’s attitude had completely changed within seconds. It was as if she hadn’t just seen her brother’s butt. She found out where the cookies were and now she was happy. Wooyoung tried to hold it in, but he started to laugh.

“Oh my god. Do you realize, this is the second time we have been caught having sex, by my family?” Khun asked, referring to that awful day two years ago.

“Oh, wow, you’re right.” He laughed some more. “I wonder why she’s home.”

Wooyoung picked up his phone from the side of the pool, next to his and Khun’s flung swim trunks and half full wine glasses. He checked the time.

“Her class wasn’t supposed to end until 10. It’s only 9.”

“Do you think we should find out what happened?” Khun asked.

“Right now? I mean, I’m kind of in the middle of something.” Wooyoung said, referring his member which was still inside of Khun. “Besides, she looked pretty happy, once she found out where the cookies were.”

Khun rolled his eyes, but smiled.

“Alright. Hopefully she doesn’t come back out.” He laughed.

WEEK TWENTY-SIX

“Oh my god!”

Khun popped up.

“What is it?” Wooyoung asked half asleep.

“We don’t have a baby name!”

“What?”

“A name, Wooyoung. We don’t have a name!!”

Wooyoung opened his eyes and looked past Khun to their clock. It was 2 in the morning.

“This can’t wait?’

“No.” Khun shook him. “Get up!”

He threw the covers off of him and Wooyoung and climbed out of bed.

“Come on.”

Wooyoung screamed into his pillow. Khun just looked at him.

“Are you done?”

Wooyoung screamed again.

“Ok, when you’re done, meet me in Damni’s room.”

Khun closed the door on Wooyoung’s muffled screams. He walked down the hall to Damni’s room and knocked on the door. When he didn’t get a response, he opened the door and saw that she was sleeping.

“Damni are you sleep?”

He knew his sister was a light sleeper, so his voice would definitely wake her up. And sure enough.

“I am now.”

“Good.”

Khun opened the door fully and walked in. He sat down at the foot of her bed.

“What?” she asked.

He didn’t even bother waiting for Wooyoung to show up, because he knew that he’d already fallen back to sleep.

“Have you realized that we haven’t picked out a baby name yet?”

“And?”

“Well, we need to.”

“Isn’t this something you and Wooyoung should be doing? I have no ties in the matter.” She said, her eyes still closed.

“Well, you are carrying the baby.”

“I’m just the Aunt.”

“Oh, come on.”

“Fine. How about Seoul.” She said opening her eyes.

Khun made a face.

“Like the city?”

“Yes.”

“I don’t think so.”

“Then what about Seol.”

“Didn’t you just say that?”

Damni was getting irritated.

“No, not Seo-ul. Seol. Open up your ears.”

“They are open and I still don’t like it.”

“Well, what about Lee Soel.”

“Yah!! You’re not giving up are you?”

“Nope. You came in and woke me up, I pushing this name to the limit.” She laughed.

“Lee Seol?” Khun rolled name around in mouth.

“I think it’s pretty and it goes with Wooyoung’s last name too. Jang Lee Seol.”

“You’re right. I like it now.” Khun smiled.

“Good, now get out.”

Khun rolled his eyes.

“I will, in a sec.”

“What else could there possibly be?!?!?!”

“I’m sorry.”

Damni lifted her head.

“Is the world ending?”

“Pfft. I apologize.”

“Yeah, after you finally realize the world doesn’t revolve around you.”

“That may be the case, but as long as an apology is spoken.”

“Khun, what are you apologizing for?”

“Everything. For accusing you, and my jealousy and especially for throwing the keys at you. It’s just that this has been so hard. I don’t think I really thought about what my part would be in all of this, until we were already there and I didn’t have anything to do.”

Damni placed her head back on her pillow.

“I mean, I’m not trying to make up excuses, but I felt left out and I guess my jealousy got the best of me.”

“Khun, you don’t have to apologize. I lived with you for 20 years of your life. I know how you are and I’ll admit that both Wooyoung and I saw this happening. We know you. “She smiled. “You are so lucky to have Wooyoung; he’s always stuck by you, even in your lamest hour. And I’m your sister; I would never do anything to hurt you. So you should have known that you could trust us.”

“I know. I’m really sorry.”

“It’s forgotten.”

Khun stood up.

“Thanks.”

“Un huh. Now GET OUT!”

“I’m going!” he laughed.

Khun left her room, closing the door behind him. He headed back down the hall and entered his and Wooyoung’s room. He climbed into bed and at the sudden movement, Wooyoung woke up.

“I’m on my way!” he yelled.

Khun stared at him.

“We already picked a name, you flake!”

“Oh. What did you pick?”

“Lee Seol. Jang Lee Seol.”

Wooyoung opened his eyes.

“I like it.”

“I know, right?!? Damni picked.”

“I really like it.”

“I mean, it’s not like you would have had a choice anyway.”

“Un huh.” Wooyoung agreed.
