The Seattle Times has
the police tapes from the shootings last weekend. I had goosebumps the entire time it was playing.
I haven't said anything about it yet but it was a terribly horrific tragedy. My heart goes out to any one who was effected by the events that happened last saturday. I'm not connected with the scene at all anymore and not even really those who are still in it but it was 4 years of my life so it still hits close to home - quite literally too as I only live about 1/4 of a mile away.
This could really happen anywhere to anyone. This could've been the G Spot 5-6 years ago and that could've been almost all of us on my friends list in that house. It could've been the house on Brooklyn... it could've been us.
I'm glad all of my friends are safe and sound but my heart aches for those who had to watch their friends and loved ones die in front of them and witness this sick monster blowing off his head w/ a shotgun. The night terrors these people will have to live w/ and the pychology bills that will be paid to try to handle this as best as they can.
This tape is very surreal and feels so distant and yet almost physically resonates through my veins at the same time.

I just listened to some more of the recordings - these are so absolutely chilling and saddening! I've teared up a few times already.
