Alive...well something like that anyways...

Summertime never ceases to amuse me. Every year the same thing happens. The same dialog is carried out;

Person 1: "Hey man over summer we should hang out and do shit"
Person 2: "No kidding we'll definitely get together"

Whether you're person 1 or person 2 you will participate in this conversation somewhere in the area of a hundred times or so within the last two weeks of school. Sure enough it takes about three days of summer before I notice that my friend's list on MSN messenger is about a mile long with everyone proclaiming their intolerable boredom. And of course I am no exception. Now, logically one would say, "you have a group of friends who are complaining about the lack of activity...perhaps you should get together and do something...". This is a grand idea, however it doesn't seem to work. For whatever reason when students are given the opportunity of infinite laziness they do so, and with gusto. Add in the fact that we (well not me at the moment, but soon) are forced away to our jobs that makes the ability to do absolutely nothing a much more valuble commodity than normal. It hasn't bothered me yet however it is an entertaining notion to view going to graduation parties of your good friends as a chore.

Anywho, with graduation behind me a spectacular discovery was made. People give you money for your achievement in mediocrity. And large sums of such at that. So like all of my other peers, I have decided to purchase a mid-grade computer for myself, in which brings some pros and cons. Insomnia's great when it comes about during a spree of creative inspiration (excerpts from the novel I'm working on coming soon :) ) but when that is lacking life is dull. One can only watch the decline in quality of television shows for so long as the night beats on.

Either way something interesting is bound to happen sooner or later, perhaps at that point this journal would be more entertaining to read. But until then...cheery-o!

Something interesting is bound to happen
