You could get electrocuted!
Justin finally got back from his trip. He came into Valvoline looking SO good. He also helpped with this ladies car when the air conditioning machine just went nuts. UGH. I was ready for that day to be over. Well he got to talk all about his trip and I was so happy to see him. When work finally got out I knew he would want to catch everyone else up too and I knew he'd be excited tos ee hsi friends and vise versa but I just missed him and just wanted a little alone time for just us to catch up. I guess thats a little selfish I just didn't think we'd be able to get alone time later on so I just wanted an hour just for us time.
We went to the park and decided to go to the castle. Well I wanted to walk even though it may have been 2 miles all up hill. I felt a little bad because I knew Justin had just gotten back from the woods and walking and fishing and so probably wasn't into another hike but we started up the road anyway. It started to rain but I was still up for it. As long as I plan on getting as wet as I can and not caring then its good. We started up the hill. In no time at all we came to a clearing where there was this beautiful lake. It was gorgeous adn even better there was a path going around it. A sign said it was illegal to swim, fish, bathe and I'm sure there was something else but walking around was totally okay.
Well I, still being the squeamish asked him to wait to get on the path till all cars that could see us were out of sight. He of coruse thought this was ridiculous but whatever. When the last car was out of sight I took off jogging so I could get up the path and out of sight again. He just laughed. He was all for walking miles on end with me but jogging kinda out of the question. Keep in mind teh whole time its still raining.
I find this trail going up the hill and go running off so by the time he catches up I'm way up the hill and off again. Either way we ended up getting on a good walk and it was all really pretty til he got a text. "Golf ball sized hail". He was ready to head back and asked me if thats what I wanted to do. I told him I wanted to keep on going if he did. We were in the woods and yea we may still get hit but not as bad and it probably wouldn't even be that bad. We got into a huge talk about how I was more concerned with my car looking like bad cellulite than getting my head cracked open by hail. hehe either way we kept on and ended up down the hill again.
The bottom was on the original path around the lake when I'm thinking its been 99 degrees out, I've been working in it all day, fully sweaty and feel sticky so I wanted to jump in.
He thought this was hilarious that I'm such a contradiction. He also was not into jumpping in with me. We walked on and kept talking about how I was not willing to let someone see us walking in - something legal and yet wanted to jump in a reservoir - something totally illegal and where cars could see. IN MY DEFFENSE they would not have noticed. It would have been 2 seconds people would have had the chance to drive up or down this hill in the rain and you would have had to have looked over, focused and seen so please but he found it amuzing. Well this leads to us going back. I took off my skirt and shoes and started walking in. I got to where I could paddle a little and then started to freak out not knowing what was under me and what I was swimming with. I DON"T KNOW WHY! So I came running back out. At this point Justin decided it was fine and he was going in as I'm running out. This sparked another huge thing that we just had this 20 minute conversation on how I'm not afraid of being illegal but of what I'm going to step on? hehe either way I get dressed. I suppose I should explain the reason why I took off the skirt was so that there would still be a partly dry spot on me which if we saw a cop while walking down the hill and he commented on the fact that my hair was soaked I could have proof that I didn't jump in because my skirt was dry... I KNOW IT DOESN"T MAKE SENSE BUT IT DID TO ME! Either way we decide to get walking and boom. It comes pouring. I mean monsoon huge storm hit. It was like standing in a shower. It was awesome. We walked back. As soon as we got to his place I went running. He beat me to the door adn down the steps but I pushed him out of the way and ran into the bathroom before anyone could see. My kakhi skirt and black underwear made for quite an advertisement. I got clothes from Justin to change in to. We hung out with his friends and had a great time. I finally had stories about his friends without him and could catch him up with the drama and just felt like one of the group. It was good. he said he missed me too. It made me happy.
We hung out and drank and played games and I got to get into some homework. Totally fascinating stuff on sterilization from the US inspiriting Nazi's and Hitler. While I'm talking to Steph planning this out and looking up some of her websites Justin asked me something about eggs. It didnt' really make sense so I just kinda fluffed it off. Next thing I know Rob comes in and sets down 2 pieces of french toast, 2 pieces of bacon and 2 fried eggs right in front of me. Then comes back with Syrup and chocolate milk. I was just kinda shocked. It was great. To top it off Justin got to come back with me and all ends well.
Today was good, got some errands done, some not thanks to Anthony, and I found that I got a 91 on my CS Exam. WOO!
Time to get back to work and for the record its 88 degrees. UGH I'm going to die of heat exhaustion.
