I don't know where my mind has been lately. Just kinda floating around trying to avoid bad thoughts. As hard as I try I can't help but look down on some people. I never like it because I'm not an arrogant person. But there will ALWAYS be some clueless retard who believes that merely reading a book and quoting the same garbage some chump before him quoted denotes intelligence or somehow puts you on the same level as the author.. I can understand if you truly know what you are talking about but in many cases the person's credibility is highly suspect. And what's even more saddening is the people that buy into their little bit. What state of mind does a person have to be in to take people like this seriously? Maybe I'm just missing something. Maybe you don't have to be intelligent to be intelligent. Maybe I'm the stupid one for not understanding! This is how baffled I am by these people. It's just something that I can't help but try and understand. It would be like the first person to see a dung beetle. A bug rolling a ball of shit. Some people would just say "Ew gross! Doo doo!" and that would be it. Me? I'd wanna know what the hell a beetle is doing rolling shit into a ball. Turns out that’s how they lay eggs...or whatever. they roll em in shit and when it's old enough it busts out of the hardened turd ball. Well, my point to all that is that these window licking mongoloids are like the dung beetle. I wanna know why they roll shit balls.
Oh and the hurricane. Normally I never give my opinion on things like that because it more often than not sparks some sort of debate/argument. And ultimately that is pointless because I'm not the sort of person that changes my opinion that easily. And this is a subject that became an enormous political fiasco. Which, by the way, has to be the most disgusting waste of time. Here, why don't we sit and look at video footage and pictures of people in peril and try to find a government official to blame. Oh, and don't worry about actually trying to do your part in helping out. There are tons of people already doing that! So instead let's, once again, point out how incompetent Bush is. Sure, we all fucking know that he's dumb, ok? We all know that he's driven the country into the dirt. What good will talking about it do? About as much as it did during the last election. All that passion about hating Bush and somehow he is re-elected. I'm sure it was rigged though..... Anyways, back to New Orleans. That place is wrecked. I hear it won't be safe to even live there for a decade. I doubt that.
My big question to whoever is: If everyone had such a huge head start on this hurricane, why didn't the people take the initiative and leave? I suppose having somewhere to go would help. But...you are talking about a natural disaster coming your way. "Well, honey. I don't really feel like staying in a hotel this whole time. Yeah, let's just stay." I must have missed something in all the media coverage. Poor people had to stay because they didn't have cars. Yet in several photos I saw very nice vehicles that were trashed by the storm. Sure, I would have stolen a vehicle. If I'm a poor person I'm BOUND to know someone that can hot wire. My point is that maybe Bush sat on his ass during this. But so did some of those people. Don't misunderstand though. I still think its horrifying what happened there. I find it to be very frightening. And yes, it's very easy to sit in my arid state of Texas with President Bush and say "Well I would have done this.." You really never know about stuff like that until it happens to you. I just know myself enough that I'd get the fuck out of my house if it started flooding and not trap myself in the attic and wait to die. As for the looting and killing...well, folks, that's human survival at it's finest. Only the strong shall live. Darwinism. Whatever you want to call it. That place turned to hell in a matter of days and if you want to survive in hell you might as well fit in. Disgusting as it all is that's just how I see it.
It hurts to admit when you make mistakes. But when they're big enough, the pain only lasts a few seconds.
