Ok. People that know me know I like drinking. And with my bum life style I can afford to drink when ever.
That said, there are times when this doesn't always work out. Sometimes you have to go somewhere or do something unexpected. Keyword here, folks: UNEXPECTED. Now, despite these rare occasions I still drink at my leisure. "Rare" isn't often enough to warrant concern. So sometimes it becomes an inconvenience. Big deal. I have plenty of those when I'm sober.
Well, a while back I had one of those days. Actually it was a few months ago. An investigate/detective/cop came to the house. I don't recall the time. I only recall blowing him off so I could continue to feel like hammered dog shit. He asked if Mr. Gonzales lived here. At the capacity I was working, my brain interpreted it as so, "I am Mr. Foster. I do not want to be awake. I do not want to see sunlight." That prompted to me answer "no" and send the gentleman on his way.
A few days later I was sober playing GTA: San Andreas (considering I purchased this after Christmas should indicate how long it takes to deal with shit in the legal system). The same guy comes by again asking the same question. I nearly sent him away a second time when my highly tuned brain clicked on. Mr. CARLOS Gonzales. Ok, so Carlos did live here and he moved to Austin. I informed the man and I believe I gave him Carlos' brother's phone number. As I stated, this was months ago and I don't remember.
I don't know Carlos' side of the story in detail. He's a friend but not a close friend. I do feel responsible for what happened but at the same time I don't think I'm to blame. I didn't LIE to the guy, I just didn’t listen to what he asked me. If I wanted to lie I would have said the same thing the second time he came by. But, apparently they need me there in person. So, in about 2.5 hours I will get up..or still be awake..and get dressed APPROPRIATELY. I have to call one of these jerks, which I should have a few days ago but didn't. Maybe they can just take a statement. Personally I would like to be there to explain my actions more clearly and at the same time I don't much like dressing up or going to some place like a court house. But, for now, we will just see what happens.

Foster Goes To The Movies
________________________________________________________________
Movie theaters are fun. Recently I decided I would attend during the day. It's cheaper and less crowded. I go alone but that's ok.
I watched Batman Begins. I never much read the comic but I know the character. They did a very good job on the movie. It was a bit drawn out due to developing Bruce Wayne and eventually Batman. Obviously there will be sequels but I won't reveal details. The one thing I feel was neglected was the fact that Batman is one kick ass detective as well as a major ass kicker. I'd give it an 8 of 10.
Before that I saw Fantastic Four. As often is the case, comics made into movies must suffer horrendous editing. Not just normal "movie editing" but the story must suffer as well. In fact, they sometimes change them so much that the movie should be noted as "based on comic characters". Fantastic Four's original comic book story had been changed. Also they failed to impress me with three of the characters. Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Girl, and Dr. Doom. I felt that The Thing and Human Torch were very accurately portrayed. The method in which they acquired their super powers was "similar" to the comic. Except for Doom, which is my major complaint with his character in the movie...plus the actor totally sucked. Mr. Fantastic was done so-so. He was made out to be thing huge retard and they focused on that too much. Invisible Girl was also not up to par, for me anyway. Though Jessica Alba did a good job, I admit. And I'm not just saying that because is attractive. Still, her character was slightly flawed due to the story of the movie. I say 6 of 10 for this one. Good to watch but far from loyal to the comic.
