furry woes
my cat is officially a killer. he's brought me two tiny little rodents withing the last eight hours. both of them have ended up in my bed. *SO* disturbed! early this morning i woke up cuz the cat was bouncing around at the foot of the bed and generally flipping out in a much happier than normal kind of way, all playful and cute, but no, he had a cute little mouse with him. i opted for burrying my head under the covers and hoping he didn't throw it at me before he eventually ate it. i got lucky. hours later... i just went upstairs and he is ONCE AGAIN playing with rodents in my bed, but oh no, this time he's doing it between my sheets! ack! 'keeeten, no bodies in the house!' i shrieked. but did he care? no, this time he threw it at me. missed, thankfully, the corpse ended up under the bed where he is now looking frantically to recover it. cute little mole, it was. cute little mole nose. its good that i don't have a problem with mice and rodents in general because this would just be bad news otherwise. its just kinda gross and i'll have to strip the bed tonight... after i'm sure he's taken the mole outside or eaten it or something. its disturbing, and yet oddly amusing. cats.
