Exhaustion never felt so good!

And the house has never looked so bad, except for maybe the time I was working these kinds of hours before. Now I’m working mostly weekends, mid-morning to almost close. This week is good, next week is a bit less, and the week after that, even less. But who knows what will come up in that time? I hope more hours!

As I said…I am exhausted. This is week 2 of working the different schedule. Up until Wednesday, I felt like I was doing so good - felt like I was on fire, even. Then Thursday? I had the most awful practice in a while. Yesterday morning, I woke up at 5:30AM with the worst pain ever in my back, between my waist and shoulder blades. Not exactly like heartburn, but close. I FINALLY got that settled about 9 or 9:30, and even felt like calling out of work. Didn’t do it, though. My eyes are firmly on the prize (vacation, y’all. I am going to do it, somehow.), and I went in as scheduled at 2:30. I even left the house at 12:30 to make sure I had time to run an important errand before going in to work.

Last night at work was pretty excruciating at times, with a blinding headache I had no ibuprofen on hand for. Didn’t help matters that I was clumsy as all get-out! But after being gone from my house for nearly 12 hours and on my feet most of that time, I am ready to forget all about the past two bad nights and turn my week around.

On that note, I actually woke up today before I had to start getting ready, and got some laundry and dishes done. And I still have 15 minutes to spare. I’ll be starting some blog post drafts, doing some more dishes (this time in the dishwasher), and in an attempt to save money, get my dinner together so I won’t have to buy junk food at the store.

I’ve also installed two new plugins, one is threaded comments (so please let me know if you get my responses to your comments! Jade, I know you did. But I am about to mess with the settings on the plugin itself, so who knows?) I also need to try to figure out how to do the code so that it matches the current comment structure, but that’s not too awfully important right now. And maybe mess with the colors. And maybe just try to make it a bit neater. All stuff to do, but not obsess over. I also installed a Flickr comments importer. Hope it works better than the lj comments importer. Already, it has imported my feed items as comments to an OLD post. Not a problem, considering I can just delete them. But they never get deleted permanently from my admin panel. I may end up ditching this plugin.
