They are mine now!

Currently: Ecstatic!

I have decided to somewhat reign in my dish-thrifting and concentrate on mostly just cups and saucers. As you can tell by the post below this one, I have already made an exception to that rule by purchasing a dinner plate on my last thrifting excursion. That was not the only exception, and I am sure I will continue making exceptions for pieces that just scream out to me that they belong with me! But for the most part, I am attempting to add to my cup & saucer collection, and every time I head out to the thrift stores, flea markets, and antique shops, I look for saucers to match the orphaned cups I have, and cups to match my orphaned saucers.

I was looking around on eBay the other day. I swore I was going to stay away from eBay because the shipping kills me every time, and it also takes the fun out of thrifting. However, I came across some footed cups I just had to have: they are promotional products from Bailey’s Irish Cream, from 1996, I believe. They are so cute, and I can’t wait to have them in my hands and show them off! They don’t come with saucers, but I have a few ‘orphans’ that they are a possible close enough match for. Yay!
