I can’t complain about the year thus far….really can’t. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to stick to the goals I’d created for myself. But I’ve been (and am!) determined, and I’ve been sticking to them:
I am still right on track with my eating plan, and I’ve been journaling almost every day in my
SparkPeople Nutrition Tracker. Today I started with my exercise goal, and just spent twenty minutes on my Gazelle. I have
an online workout buddy, and she will hold me accountable for workout time! I am excited!
I’ve been meaning to start Flylady. I haven’t exactly gotten around to it…..yet. I have, however, been doing what I can when I can all week. Just this morning, I hung and put away three loads of the kids’ clothes; cleaned off the main bathroom counter; unclogged the dishwasher drain; and did a load of dishes. All before heading off to school!
I’ve been tending and adding to my herb garden, too
I thought my cilantro had died…..
But I gave it a little TLC, and now…..is it just my imagination, or is it perking up just a little bit?
Windowsill herbs, part 2:
Mint, rosemary, cilantro, parsley, and oregano. Yum.
And….excuse my fangirly moment here, but……I’ve been tagged by one of my idols and one of my favorite people on the internet,
White Trash Mom, for the
Seven weird and random facts meme! Not only do I love a meme, but it’s WHITE TRASH MOM! I had no idea she even visited my blog, and I am beside myself with glee! How can I possibly refuse?
In case you ever wanted to know, here are Seven weird and random facts about me. At least….I think they could be weird, or at least random. You be the judge:
1. Most of the men I’ve found attractive throughout my life have had long, dark hair.
2. I’ve never been on an airplane.
3. I have a widow’s peak.
4. I’m obsessed with the supernatural, and all manner of paranormal phenomena.
5. I’m obsessed with my dreams, and what they might mean.
6. When eating a sandwich, I eat the crust first, then turn the sandwich as I go into a perfect circle until it’s gone.
7. Different foods absoluely can NOT touch on my plate, and I eat only one item at a time. How I am okay with casseroles is beyond me….
The rules are to tag seven more people. I’m not even sure seven people still read my blog on a regular basis, so here’s the deal: Do this if you want (and want to make me happy!). Link back to this post somehow and tag seven more people. Oh, and be sure to let me know you’ve done it if you do! I want to come see seven weird and random things about you! Really, I do!
