Slowly getting caught up….
There is more severe weather in store for us. I woke up about 6 a.m. to hail. There are lots of wrecks already out on the roadways. Some of the schools in surrounding counties are closed, or dismissing at noon. Not ours, but who knows what will happen between now and noon. Glad today is the last day of my work week!
I watched Shallow Hal again last night. You know what really irks (and perplexes) me? That troll-like guys, or average guys AT BEST, think they deserve a really hot, supermodel-looking woman. I don’t consider Jack Black troll-like, but some of his co-stars in that movie sure were. And you see this happen every day in real life. Some ordinary, average guy thinks he’s worthy of a really hot girl, and will blow off all others holding out for one. Or worse, toy along with all others till someone prettier shows the least bit of interest. I know girls are like that, too, but I think the guys are far more guilty of it.
And those catch-a-predator shows? I always wonder how the pedophiles don’t figure out they’re being set up. (Yes, they deserve to be caught, but that’s not the point I’m trying to make). I wonder why those middle-aged losers think some cute underage girl wants to have anything to do with them. But I guess there is a lot more factoring into that than just some stupid and despicable man’s ego.
If you left me a comment since that home office-related post, I finally got around to responding…you know, if any of you are interested in a response. Well, they’re there now.
