Perhaps my last post this weekend
Kat and boys are leaving tomorrow to go visit family and friends in Maine. Hope you all have a safe and wonderful and fun trip, girl!
Oh, I hope I’m not too late! Starrlight told me about this; the main page is here. And I am stoked! You know I had to go sign myself up. Why? Because the more people who visit my site, the better chance I have of finding someone who can help me with my screwed up backlinks I just love meeting new people! I’ve met so many wonderful people through blogging, and I can’t wait to meet more. Oh, and help with the backlinks I just can’t shut up about would be nice, too. But since it’s the end of the weekend and I don’t need to ruin the week ahead by being in a foul mood now…..well, I’m just trying REALLY hard to let that be.
Some really good things this weekend, too.
In anticipation of spring (less than two months away now, y’all!), I bought myself some of these beauties, which I cannot wait to get planted. I’ll be buying more, along with cannas and calla lilies whose colors escape me at the moment, miniature roses, hollyhocks, and hopefully some Midnight Blue and Hot Cocoa roses. But don’t get me started on gardening, or I could go on forever!
And….I made a slew of homemade beef & bean burritos for the freezer. Brown 1 lb groud turkey & drain, add 15 oz can refried beans, various spices and about 1/3 packet of taco seasoning mix, mix really well, cook for about 15 minutes on medium heat. Really good, if I do say so myself.
Unfortunately, I did none of the things I said I wanted to do here< but still looks like my weekend wasn't so bad after all.
