I've been in a Percy mood lately. He's one of those characters (along with Neville and Viktor) that I like so much in fanfiction that I'll read nearly anything, regardless of pairing. What's up with the WIPs lately? Okay, I think maybe more of this story was intended, but it can definitely stand on its own and in fact at the end I thought it was supposed to. It's OLD, post GoF, but really cute. It's got a real humorous JKR-esque feel to the writing, and it's just plain sweet. Ron/Harry

Purplefluffycat is the Queen of writing minor characters I think, but her best character (in my opinion) is Horace Slughorn. Her Slughorn is simply delightful and adorable, and prissy and well rounded, and fascinating. I could read a novel length fic with him as the main character, he's that riveting. I know you've heard me gush about fanfiction before... that's sort of the point of this journal, but this next story is above and beyond anything I ever thought fanfiction could be.
