Is it me?
So I was up most of the night with stomach problems. Think this flu I had is still lingering. Glenn went to work at Welsh Farms for me. I spent most of the morning sleeping with Casper at my side.
Glenn got home around 11:30am telling me that Tom (the 24 year old kid who works as the manager at Welsh farms-cool kid-wears slipknot shirts and takes no shit from snotty customers) told him that the owner "Al" (an american name taken by the Indian owner) asked him to fire all the "white" people working there. He's now only hiring "Indian" people. He buys up these stores then keeps the staff working till he gets established then fires them, hires Indian people as well as his family to work there and then when the store is doing good he subleases the store to "Indians" fresh from India. Makes you wonder how Americans are so damn lazy. How people from other countries come over and take over.
Glenn and Tom were telling the customers coming into the store about the news. Most seemed upset and want to boycot the store. I personally don't blame them. Keep the white people working at the store till while you take over then fire them once you're clientelle is established. Is this racism? Pisses me off...
Just my thought for now. He expects me to go in for my last day tomorrow and work out the day till he can get the "schedule" straight for next week. Fuckin' asshole
