I got the job!!!
OK so I got the job I interviewed for on my b-day. Guess it brought me good luck. I start on the 18th! 1k more than what I was making and a 2500 a year bonus and benefits start day 1!!! Woohoo
On a sadder note we had a slight problem with the plumming in the bathroom and had a small flood which seeped into the floor and into the dining room ceiling which the bathroom is located above. Lost about 6 feet by 3 feet of the ceiling but luckily it wasn't anything major like a pipe breaking. Now we have to repair the ceiling. Glenn said we're putting up a tin ceiling in the dining room now. Still no word on when the kitchen will be done. Gotta pick out the cabinets and counters and floor. I hope they begin construction soon. We have to move in by end of next month. It's all coming together slowly, VERY slowly haha. Dumpster is full and has to be removed and brought back so it can be filled again. His folks had to much crap I tell ya! Donating the bedroom set and maybe dining room set. Anyone need furniture? Gonna make the dining room a bar area till I find my heywood wakefield set of my dreams. I'll wait. No rush :)
Not much else to report. I gotta get my dry cleaning done and get use to getting up early for the new job. Unemployment hours have really set in and the thought of getting up at 6 is gonna be hard. haha
