Fall has hit
Well ok maybe not the official first day of fall but the weather is getting cooler-THANK GOD! House in Cresskill is still kickin' my butt with all the cleaning out and rennovations. I hope to God by the time my folks get older they get rid of their stuff cuz they are packrats almost as bad as Glenn's folks were, one difference, their packrattness (is that a word? haha) is vintage crap so at least it's sellable. Cleaned out the enclosed backporch of Glenn's folks house that was completely packed where you couldn't even walk. Found a cool 50s tabletop radio in the mess and some great kitchen stuff (pyrex and baking pans that were brand new from the 60s yay!). Have to call the guy who did the windows to come and do the kitchen and fix up the bathroom since that's beyond our control. We have less than 2 months to get that house in order before our lease runs out here in Rutherford. Since the roomate moved out it's an extra 600 a month we have to pay on the rent here and the extra 1/3 the utilities not to mention still maintaining the utilities and such at the other house in cresskill. Money seems to be burning through our bank accounts.
ON a lighter note, went to Lead East briefly this weekend on Sat. Glenn blew his transmission on the way up there then locked his keys in the car so thank goodness my investment in AAA came in handy! Bought a cute lucite and metal purse for 5 bucks...I need another purse like I need a hole in my head but hell it was 5 bucks :) Saw some friends I don't get to see often so that was fun.
Sun went to a bbq. Monday we went to the weird NJ sites. Weirdnj.com we went to devils tower, clinton road and the pier in pierpont where it's supposedly mad haunted (Revolutionary war was fought most around the cliffs on the Hudson). Felt like I was a teen again. hehe
That was my weekend. Nothing majorly exciting. Glad Sept has hit. My b-day is the 23rd as well as my pops. Dunno what's up for that. Southbury car show is coming up in a couple weeks. They have the best flea markets not like I need more crap. Gotta get going on ebay sales. Been taking pics. Just waiting to upload the auctions. God writing descriptions is hard!
