Publishing observations
People at other publishing companies think it's weird that I liked being an editorial assistant, but then again I never had to photocopy a thing, make or buy anyone coffee, or make a reservation. I had my own responsibilities and did work that nobody else was even able to do. I assumed this was what an Editorial Assistant was for everyone. But no, I was just extremely lucky. So, thanks, Wiley. Thanks for allowing me to actually assist people rather than just being their bitch.
