flowerbed

flowerbed, originally uploaded by Anna Kharina.
Anna Kharina is among the dozen or so of Tangolarina's Muses whom I showed to you about a month ago. Anna is from St. Petersburg, Russia, and she's a fascinating Flickr denizen.

I'm pretty sure this is a self-portrait -- and the title fascinates me. I suppose it refers to the flower pattern of the bedspread she's adorning. The possibilities of some obscure Russian pun or literary allusion to nudity -- especially a delicious pussy in full view -- also occured to me, though I've no way of checking them out.

In agreeing to me posting these two shots, Anna did say quite plaintively that she believed her shots "look quite different" from the other photos I feature. I thought possibly she found the others tacky or indecent -- but her shots are decidedly naked or sexual, quite a few of them (and all four I asked permission to post).

Then I wondered if there were some other element in my various postings -- perhaps being casual or quickly snapped, as opposed to artfully composed (as this one clearly is -- "Greek goddess at rest," or something)

Can any of you cultured readers help me out? Do you see any difference, generically?

PW 32 (a very sexy pose, and very European -- though I've never dated a Russian girl...)
