Driving from central FL to WashDC, 3/17-18
Hopefully you've seen my post on Wednesday about our drive up to Arlington from our winter HQ. Interstate 95 was alternately crowded, plagued by trucks, and NOT -- and, notably, there were many hundreds of Canadians in giant RVs returning to their summer homes.
I didn't talk to any of them (you can guess why), but I theorize that many had deliberately stayed in FL -- out of uncertainty until they concluded en masse that Canada was a better refuge. (D'uh!)
(I doubt yesterday's mutual closing of the US/CA border was a factor in their decidr ing -- since returning Can citizens presumably can still cross, AND there are shorter lines.)

those plucky Canadians.
