Orlando Sentinal rejects Trumpsky
So, yeah, I'm watching a little TV, here in central eastern FL -- and Rachel Maddow is on, saying that the main newspaper of Orlando (80 miles from here), the Sentinal, has gone on record NOT endorsing Donald J.Trumpsky in 2020.
And voila: The Donald his own self tonight jetted into -- yes! -- Orlando for the specific purpose of announcing his candidacy.
Not what you'd call a propitious circumstance! The editorial-page editor came on Rachel's show to confirm that the usually Republican (sic!) newspaper decided to pull the plug on Trumpsky because of his manifest failings as President.
He admitted that the paper's letters ro the editor were running roughly 50/50 regarding our Asshole-in-Chief -- but the paper's editorial board saw no alternative but to reject the idiot who took over the White House so ineptly. (Not, I admit, his precise words -- but they DID emphathically reject him AND his erstwhile supporters.)
I'm sending this tonight WITHOUT knowing what the Tangerine Toddler says about this rejection when he takes the stage in Orlando. Who knows, Federal troops may be occupying the city by morning!
