Italian or Mexican food -- just did up a batch of "carnitas" (roast pork) in the slow-cooker; last-minute invited a neighbor couple to join me for scrumptuous tacos.

Nope. Will prolly watch Rachel Maddow -- I'm deep into the whole Mueller saga!

Yeah, I confess I like nothing better. (Well, a few things!) I was walking on the beach an hour ago, met an m/f couple -- and flirted with the girl, Jenn, like mad. Hubby probably not too pleased.

No, but it sure was strange. Now it's gorgeous outside again, so will go for a swim, maybe do a little gardening.

A concert in Washington by Caetano Velloso, a wonderful Brazilian musician I first heard when I lived in Rio. My girl, Joanne, just called from there (she teaches at G.MasonUniv, so had to go back in early March; I'm staying down here in Vero Beach -- truly hate winter up there) and she asked if I wanted to go. (Is the Pope a Catholic?) So we have seats.
Besides furniture, what’s the biggest thing in your bedroom?
A big blow-up of one of Ansel Adams' photos, occupies a whole wall.
Do you diet and exercise regularly?
Swimming; a 2-mile walk on beach every day.
What’s something that you think is really cute?
The neighbors' very young kittens; I'd love to have a dog or cat, but we travel way too much. Kennels are terrible places.

Yeah, like Viktoria, money.
Why are hugs so great?
Because they're quintessentially innocent, but can get gloriously sexual in the blink of an eye.

Plenty are absurdly gorgeous (Candice Swanepohl -- rawr!); some less so, but I wouldn't kick them out of bed!

One seems to be nesting in nearby bushes, and I caught him the other day flitting between the back of a chair and the windowframe -- he must have done it 40-50 times, admiring his crimson self.
