A half-hour ago, I saw this random quote on Tumblr. I dug into it, finding out about an obscure love affair almost two centuries ago. If curious, please check out an entry on poet/dramatist/dandy Alfred de Musset (1810-57) in Wikipedia. He was a lover of the pansexual author/poetess George Sand. Wiki cattily notes, "[he] was also believed to be the anonymous author of Gamiani, or Two Nights of Excess (1833), a lesbian erotic novel also believed to be modeled on George Sand." Per Wiki, Mme Sand "wrote Elle et Lui (1859, about her affair with Musset)..."
