Holy cow! Somehow I fucking missed the YUGE public fuss greeting the new Ghostbusters flick -- specifically Kate MacKinnon's super-butch treatment of her role.
OMG I really appreciate this distraction from all the public BAD news out there! (Turkey; France; Trump's fucking coronation in fucking Cleveland...)
Woohoo, seeing this flick, like tomorrow as the bad-news convention commences, then -- hopefully armed with details of plot, characters, etc. -- nattering on at length about its Culture-Chsnging Impact...
Suffice to say the week looks a bit better than it did a few minutes ago.
