You are, of course, right, dear Anais! I'm not sure wht that escaped me at that particular moment. I see it in, indeed, Italy -- likely fairly close to the OTHER short of hers which I subsequently put up.
And I do adore Italy -- in fact, Joanne is playing with the itinerary for a trip there in late June, since we're invited to spend a week in the north with a friend and her family. Joanne would like to add a cruise on the Adriatic -- but I'm not sure I'm up for that so soon after our lengthy cruise last fall. Her zeal for travel always complicates any travel together, though we "negotiate" a good compromise...
At this point you'll get no sympathy from me about too much travel! The one thing I really despise about not having a job and therefore having to live on very little money, is that I can't really afford to travel (though apparently my husband thinks HE can afford to travel -- he just charges it to his credit card). I am looking forward to increasing my income and eventually taking a trip somewhere a little more exotic than Maryland or Michigan (trips currently being planned). I do understand, though, why you might not want to spend any more time on a cruise ship this year.
I appreciate what you say here -- and I, in turn, envy you for being as free-spirited as you are. In fact, my lack of bravery regarding my own partner is more a result of financial consequences from a split than I like to admit. (She once consulted a lawyer about "palimony" -- but we do love each other, for whatever that's worth.)
