i am strapped now.. world fear me...
Today livejournal I banged out a re-written Chapter 3.
Which didn't take me as long as i thought it would, in honesty i did lift a couple of sentences from my short-story submission of the same narrative i wrote back in the summer when i was recovering from surgery.
Oh, i got an email from the Brooklyn crew too regarding that submission.
They say NO!
Oh well, so we continue as we always have done.
Also today I bought a therma mug. And this, I found out is about as hard a translating Russian to Chinese.
Trying to find a mug that holds enough, has the correct amount of insulation (double sleeved at least!) isn't too expensive or isn't too expensive to ship to me (some places wanted $30 for shipping alone!) and is decorated with either the Penguins, LSU Tigers or something from the Whedonverse.
I mean..is that asking for a lot???
In the end I settled for one with Mardi Gras all over it. As long as it keeps my coffee hot i don't care. If it doesn't I might have to ante up and buy another one!
And I bought a sports card of Aaron Smith. Surprisingly rare apparently, gonna be rarer now that the guy's retired.
And tomorrow i am back in work.
Oh well, that was the weekend that was.
Now I only hope my convincing argument to allow me to paint murals on a £1,000,000 surgical robot will be approved.
