I'm finishing my week of annual leave and while I've done stuff I haven't really had any restful days. So I'm hoping that these last 2 days are easier than the previous 5 and I can get more than 7-8 hours sleep each night.
just to note my previous 5 days, here's what i've done:
Seen doc and got sorted in every way possible in terms of my health
Put down cash to get myself a dining table
Seen my chiropractor to have my shoulders and back seen to and my therapist to try and sort my head out
Started on the gift shopping for my friends and family and got around 75% of it, also started on the cards and got over 85% of them ready to be chucked in the mail
Went to London with my mom to support the strikes and picked up some lovely things including a dress from Libertys that I can hopefully wear in a couple of weeks time
I'm getting there slow guys. Finally managed to admit some stuff to my therapist. Basically how unstable I feel about facets of my personality. How i feel like I'm playing a character a lot of the time but I don't know/am scared to look at the person that's underneath that character.
Rob said that was perfectly understandable, it's basically my own morality telling me how there is a certain way to act/behave/live and my own impulses are fighting against that morality.
This makes me think I'm something close to Drusilla off Buffy - prior to becoming a vampire - and I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.
But if that's the case it would explain a lot. and now that I have a handle on such feelings at least I know what to look for when turbulence gets too bad.
mental strength,
shopping,
holidays,
self-esteem
