Tired, but feeling nice
just finished my shift, got to go home now and pack for the next week. I'm coming back to Aberystwyth and the forecast according to BBC weather is rain, rain, thundery rain and rain. In that order.
OK, time to pack the overcoat and leggings.
But precipitation aside I'm looking forward to returning to a place I haven't seen since Halloween 2009 and I haven't driven too since April 2008!!!
And that's a long 3 years ago.
I think just a chance to get some good sleep, not rush around like a mad thing and not have to worry about work, or shifts or anything grown up. Plus I get to see my Aberystwyth friends too! and that's always a good part of the bargain.
On another note, you know what the best thing is about working in Southmead?
The fact that surgeons are nice to me. They smile, ask how I am, know me on sight. And I don't mean they've gotten used to me over 12 months or so, these guys have known me since the beginning of February and they're friendly now. And it's nice, and so different to what was going on in Frenchay when I first started there back in 2006.
