ahh i completely understand the "making real friends" bit. I have 'friends' at ithaca.. but nothing compares to anyone in old lyme. we've put too many years into our friendships here.. i guess it will just take time to make new ones at school? its just a bummer that it takes so long. i really hope we can hang out over break!!!

being away DEFINITELY feels like pause and it's really annoying. i feel like it almost get awkward somehow when i try to call and nothing happens. then i start questioning why we are together at all.
then i remember.
