(no subject)
Okay. Life is not too good in the land of love but other than that, I am so happy and blessed! I cannot stop thinking about NYU. I got into NYU. I'm going to live in New York City. It's my dream school. It's also GSP but I don't care! How did this happen? I don't have to worry about college anymore! I feel so relieved and delighted! Now I can't wait for Kate to get into Bard because we are totally going to visit each other on weekends and become bakers. Yesterday was awesome. I was all mopey so I layed in bed until 2 o'clock. I got up and took a shower before work and Jen knocked on the door and was like, "Did you send in your NYU application? Because you got something from them!" And I was like, "It's probably just a stupid letter being like, Thanks for your interest in NYU! Here's a book about how great we are!" So I opened it and it was like, We can't accept you into the the College of Arts & Sciences but we have selected you for GSP! I started crying because I was so happy and when Jen saw me she started crying too. I really didn't think I'd get in and I know my parents didn't either so it was nice to be like, HAH! I GOT IN! And for once I could tell my dad was really proud of me. I called him at work so he was busy but he held the phone away and was like, YESSSSSS!!!!! I'm so fucking lucky. I've never felt so good about anything. Kate and Kristin came to visit me at work and Jeff stopped by too. It was so nice and after work I went to Josh Jordan's party with him and Riley and posse. It was weird because it was mostly juniors and valley kids and I'm weird at parties too. But I had a good time and afterwards I joined Kate and Kristin for cake, shakes, fries and conversation! I pretty much have the best friends in the world.
