Parker smiled and gave a wave as Erica brushed past in an obvious hurry. He poked his head into the potions room and saw that Fern was in theresmiling to himself as he cleaned flasks, and potions bottles. Parker wondered how anyone could wear a smile while cleaning those things. He shrugged and and walked on his way, not wanting to give Fernando a chance to notice him.
He arrived to his own quiet common room and saw Drew sitting at a table by herself. He went over and sat across from her looking at the Yule Ball poster tacked up on the wall. very soon. H e had been waitng for the coming night for over a month. Drew smiled to him and asked how his day was.
"Not bad...Yourself?"
Afrer small talk was over Parker decided to get to bed. He gave her a sisterly kiss on the forehead "Hogsmeade tomorrow?"
Drew replied "yes yes, see you there"
"We can keep eacother company you know "Parker stated
Drew got up and winked "Its a date" gave a light laugh and went into her own dorm
Parker climbed the stairs and quickly went to bed.
When the new day came everyone was running around trying to remember their last minute items they needed to purchase before the ball.

He saw Padma and Drew talking, Prefects stick together no doubt, and then Liana joined them, smiled and then linked arms with Padma as they made their way into a boutique leaving Drew by herself, but not for long. He walked over to Drew "Where to first?"
