The thing about depression that I find so mind boggling is the fact that most of the time I don't feel like I have a reason to be depressed. I just no longer feel like participating in life anymore. I do all the things I'm meant to, I take my pills everyday, I'm doing talk therapy and I should be ok. I've taken all the steps I've been told to, I'm ( Read more... )

I don't understand our brains most of the time. I worry too that it'll be another 60/70 years of it. The times it goes away for a while are promising... but never long enough. Maybe one day they will cure it... not that they are trying, though.

Well really, they've pretty much halted research in the stem cell development area because of right wing christian lunatics like george bush, and sadly enough our society puts more value on an erection than something significant like Aids, or cancer or even finding a cure for mental illness, my god how controversial!

(sorry, still kinda feeling crappy and it brings out the sarcasam in me)
