I don't know how they're going to handle the whole pregnancy and having-a-kid-together thing unless it's gonna be the last season, but I'm excited to find out. I'm usually able to guess things like that but that caught me in a surprise, for sure. Even with all of Brennan's talk about having a child with "Buck" and being really worried about Angela's childbirth.
Wendell was SUPER ADORABLE in this one, wasn't he? *dreamy sigh*
And, saving the best for last and all that jazz:
Just watching the previouslies and I knew Dean's gonna break pretty bad. Even before I find out it's a Sera episode. ;__;
Now. I wanna trust Sebastian Roche Balthazar, but...I don't know. He's awesome either way, though. Possibly my favorite non-Winchester now that Crowley's all douche-y.
Sera sure does loooooooove crushing Dean. I screamed, literally, the moment Dean said he needed Cas to do one more thing for him. I wrote Fata Morgana on the basis of Dean wiping Sam's memory after The Deal so Sam can get the normal life he's always wanted - that Dean thinks just him being completely out of somebody's life would save them - so that particular part hit close to home. I don't know if they'd backtrack and pick that storyline back up again, I certainly wouldn't mind and it worked pretty awesomely in Angel's series finale, I just share Dean's sentiment about breaking Sam's nose if those two were ever brought up again. I think in that tiny space of Dean rescuing them he saw too much of John inside of him. :((
All in all, a great pre-finale episode. :)
Ahh. Carry On My Wayward Son. Brings a smile to my face. DON'T YOU CRY NO MORE, DEAN.
At first I thought it was a flashback to the soulless year, but then he found the keys to the Impala. Without Dean attached. And then I got nervous. And then I was, like, OH MAN, CASTIEL. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?
My brain's still all !!! at the ending (not sure if I like it, but meh) so this is gonna be choppy and all over the place.
Wait. Wait. WAIT. I gotta say this: MALE. MODEL. TYPE. God, I love this show.
I was quite impressed with the way Kripke handled the whole remembering hell thing. Having Sam kill the other versions of himself and taking it all in bit by bit? Much better than what I thought it was gonna be, which would be all of it flooding right into him. Well done, Kripke.
Speaking of, Jared did a spectacular job in this one. A++! :D:D:D
Also, THEY HURT DEAN'S BABY. Ugh. I totally shrieked at that. DDDDD:
