I didn't watch it in 3D because it tends to give me a headache unless it's an animation, but I was pretty freaking satisfied nonetheless!
I didn't mind the sideline ~romance~ as much as I loathed the Will/Elizabeth hoopla but it's probably due to the mermaid not being played by Keira Knightley (blech) or maybe because they were both so pretty. *___* Yes, I'm shallow that way.
All the bromance between Jack and Hector was super brilliant, too. ♥
This is probably my favorite one, only slightly paled in comparison to the original. A++!
