We were in Erfurt over the weekend and watched a Marriage Parade.  Starting with a brass band and drum corps (in costume), then about 50 Brautpaar walking together in their wedding togs.  There was a lot of white satin dragging along the street!  Some of the couples walked with the mother of the bride or groom, or the maid of honor.  The brides ( Read more... )
