Postcards: Eastern Germany
Groß Köris is a rather small town, more a village, with about 2.200 inhabitants not too far away from Berlin. I am not how old this postcard is, but as it's black and white, it's most likely not that new. Around 1900 german writer Theodor Fontane passed by on a boat and was so delighted about the place's drawbridge that he wrote about it.
