SO. There were some valid concerns raised in the voting post, and my goal here is to get stuff addressed and settled before I even start to play. Here's what I have planned before even commenting:
- [BIG FURUBA SPOILER] -- would your character be able to tell? meme.
- Can Akito badtouch you? -- If a situation comes up and Akito may or may not react violently, would you rather he not? pls advise.
- Sohma connections. There are several characters in camp who are connected with the Sohmas. It's not my intent to mess with your RP unless you want to. This will be a meme for whether you'd rather Akito dip his hands in or not.
I'll get these three up over the next few days with an actual description for each and strategically placed LJ cuts and spoiler warnings.
Basically! For Akito, I am assuming that unless you tell me otherwise, you would rather he not do anything that could be possibly detrimental to your character. If it starts heading in that direction, I will contact you ASAP, be it via PM or e-mail, and we can work out something to keep things from going overboard. My biggest concern here is keeping things fun for everyone. I'm too lazy to godmode anyone, anyway.
I've got essays forthcoming, but I'd rather start playing first before, heh, essaying on one thing or another, but if there are any concerns regarding Akito, how I'll be playing him, or anything else, please tell me. I can't fix these things if I don't know about them, and I really want to make things work for everyone as best as I can.
So! Talk to me! Tell me your concerns! I'm here to work with you guys, heh. I came in expecting for there to be issues, and I'm more than willing to fiddle with things. The other Sohma players are also being very, very cool and are open to helping alleviate any awkward IC situations. Cabin problems? Tell me! We can all talk and figure something out; nothing will get swapped up without everyone's consent. Worried about a relationship? Tell me! We can come up with an IC reason for Akito to overlook it or something along those lines. I'm very, very flexible; you just have to talk to me.
